Confirm the Cut Before the Graphics
Confirm shoulder width, armhole depth, binding, side panels, and shorts before placing artwork. For reversible jerseys, approve both faces together. Keep player numbers, top and shorts sizes, and packing labels in one roster.
Three Basketball Jersey Decisions
Set the cut, build, and player set before sampling.
Choose Material for One or Two Faces
- Polyester interlock
A smooth surface for sublimated artwork. - Micro mesh
Lighter and more open; check coverage, small details, and added decoration. - Polyester spandex
Stretch for closer fits; check the pattern and artwork direction. - Reversible build
Check the combined layers, edge finish, color show-through, and finished weight. Reference weights include 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, and 240 GSM; the right choice depends on the structure.
Size the Armhole, Top, and Shorts Together
Confirm the basketball fit as a complete set.
- Jersey
Shoulder width, chest, armhole depth, and body length. - Shorts
Waist and shorts length, recorded separately from the top size. - Pattern
Use approved women’s and youth patterns rather than scaled men’s sizes.
Plan Home, Away, and Reversible Colors
Use team artwork, Pantone references, or an approved sample for colors, side panels, binding, numbers, and shorts.
- Approve both faces of a reversible jersey.
- Check color show-through and artwork direction.
Keep Numbers Clear Through Movement
Place the team name, numbers, player name, side graphics, shorts number, crest, and brand marks on the approved pattern.
- Sublimation
Integrated artwork on suitable polyester. - Heat transfer
Separate player details after material testing. - Raised decoration
Adds weight and may pull light mesh.
Pack Complete Player Sets
Pack jersey and shorts by player when they will be distributed as sets.
- Check the player name and number.
- Check both sizes, reversible face, and garment labels.
- Match the packing label to the roster and confirmed packaging.
Choose Another Uniform Structure
Choose by sleeve, opening, kit version, or sport-specific fit.
Inspect Both Sides and Both Pieces
Check the shoulder, armhole, binding, side panels, shorts, and both reversible faces against the production reference. Then match the numbers, each jersey-and-shorts pair, and packing label to the roster.
